Low beam driver side headlamp

Low beam driver side headlamp
To anyone with knowlege on this topic..
A couple months back..My 2015 Civic started having an issue with my drivers side low beam headlight..But back then...I just played with the wire going to the lowbeam bulb and that tweaked it to work fine..Until a couple days back....Now...No wire twisting will get the bulb back on...I checked the fuse under hood...All good..Didnt see an issue..Highbeam works fine....Any Ideas?? A mechanic suggested bulb was out and should be replaced...

If you've been messing with the wire then you may have actually broken the strands in the wire and now the wire is no good. But start with the bulb first. If you have a test light/multimeter you can check for voltage and ground at the socket
If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

I just played with the wire going to the lowbeam bulb
Bulbs could be swapped as a test too, before purchasing new ones
