08 Civic engine won't stay warm at idle.
Hi, I've noticed in the last few days that when my car is at idle with the cabin heat running the engine temp light continuously drops off until it hits 2 bars. As the engine cools off so does the amount of heat coming through the vents. When driving the heat never goes above the normal operating temp, so I'm not sure if this is thermostat related or another issue. Any ideas?

It's how cold outside?
Could be normal for your car.
Small engines don't make an abundance of heat at idle. In cold weather the heater and fan can remove engine heat faster than the engine can make it.
