Manually disabling factory alarm

I have a '12 Honda Civic LX Sedan. How do I disable the alarm once I've opened the car? I can't find my keys and I may have locked it inside?
I have the factory spare which doesn't have a key fob to unlock the doors remotely. I want to disable the alarm to keep from a annoying my neighbors. I want to be able to start the car with the spare. Because if the keys are not there, I may have left them in the wife's car and she works 40 mins away. And I need to pick someone up from the airport on 2 hours. Yes what a way to start my day. 😖

Re: Manually disabling factory alarm

Unlocking the drivers door with the key will turn the alarm off.

Re: Manually disabling factory alarm

So I can use the factory spare? It won't go off and it'll start? That's great! Thank you

Re: Manually disabling factory alarm

Is the alarm going off randomly ??

Often it is the hood switch that causes those symptoms if so.

Just watch the red/orange alarm indicator on cluster, it will stop flashing once unlocked.

Does the alarm go off when you unlock the door and open it?

If it does, your car is broken.
