about seafoaming my Civic and where do I pour the stuff in on a 8th
gen model any clue?

you can use it in the fuel tank, but i wouldn't run it thru a vacumme line

I want to use it mixed in my engine with the oil-gas, and pour it thru a vacuum line If I can find one as per direction on bottle why not vacumm it through a line.?

I wouldn't use it through a vacuum Line for fear/risk of getting any crud
or carbon stuck on the o2 sensorse besides it wont do much cleaning all
the white smoke coming out the tail pipe is simply unburned cleaner not
sure if your doing this as a preventative mantanance thing or other.? but
Your better off getting a air induction professionally done like using
BG Fuel induction cleaning

I wouldn't use it at all, unless there was a very specific need for such a product.
I'd bet there isn't a good reason.

The car runs just fine, no?
Waste of money just buying the can, with the potential to cost you a buttload more money if you do it wrong.

nothing wrong with my civic, just trying to get as much out of
it. I have some miles on it and just thinking it needs some
extra care I seen people online seafoming there rides thought
of trying it, any thing else that's ok to use

using seafoam vacuumed thru your engine is NOT the smartest
thing to do. again you could run a risk of dislodgeing some crude on to
your o2 sensors as the cleaner makes its way out the exhaust really not
a good idea to do. ezone mentioned top tier gas totally agree. a good gas

I like shell. and from time to time I will fill up on there Vpower nitro gas
when I see a price drop at the gas station, another thing to keep in mind
is to use a good quality synthetic oil & filter I like and use Pennzoil Pure Plus
and a fram XG synthetic media type oil filter change it at a reasonable
interval and lastly keep all other fluids and lastly air filter
clean. civics arnt known for carboning up

Look, does your manual call for premium fuel? No (unless you have the newer Si), it calls for 87 rated octane gasoline and that is all. While using a higher octane rating may not cause damage right away, or at all, your engine is engineered to run on a certain type of fuel.

Literally google "Octane rating" and do some simple simple research people.

If you really want to keep your fuel lines clean do what ezone says and buy top tier gasoline. They put the most amount of detergents in the fuel and use a higher standard quality of fuel.

I find all those damn additives are just like the supplement industry.... they promise everything and only deliver the negative space in your wallet. Don't waste your money, if there is a problem with your car, fix, if not, enjoy the ride and stop getting suckered by the promise of "better mileage", "incrased power", blah ,blah, blah.... Sorry for the rant, but just do some simple research, the information is out there!

But seriously, never ever ever take the claims of the company selling the product to you! Do some reading, get a consensus, or better yet, some actual data to prove the claims. If none exists, likely a fraud, using your well-placed good intentions to keep your car running nicely!

Do the maintenance the manual calls for, your car will run a very long time.... if it doesn't get stolen...or gutted...or hit...

I've used in my BMW where I can see the plastic fuel injection lines. I put several cans of Seafoam inin about three months of driving.
The fuel lines looked very clean and bright after the treatment. So does it work, you decide. I know it worked for me

I have used it once and noticed a small difference small difference
being on a scall of 1-10 I would give it 4. Honestly I have had much

better luck and more of a responsive feel when I used BG 44K in the
fuel tank a lot better throttle response just being its a much stronger
concentrated fuel cleaner compared to the over the counter mild
cleaners found in most auto parts chains.
