2008 2 Dr Civic, Custom Audio, Custom Lighting
Hey guys, new to the forum just wanted to show you some of things I have done to my Civic. I spent alot of time googling stuff and if you have any questions please ask, I will do my best to answer them.
Pic 1 is just a pic of my car in the shop.
Picture 2, 3, & 4 are the interior lights i installed in my car. I bought a 4 piece ledglow single color interior kit.

The way the lgihts are wired is pretty simple. I purchased a low profile expandable circuit from ledglow and plugged it into fuse 1 in my fuse box. The power from the fuse extender runs to the switch. From the switch to the control box. The control box and switch are grounded together to a bolt behind the steering wheel, under the dash. The control box is mounted inside the glove box using double sided tape. I will say the lights look cool but the option for the lights to goto the music is not the best.
Picture 5 shows my audio setup. My whole stereo is wired with JL Audio wires. I use to think wires were wires but trust me, do not skimp on the wires.
Picture 6 is of my two Alpine type Rs in a ported box. The lights in the trunk were bought at autozone so I am not sure of the brand. They are wired to turn on when the trunk opens. I cut the wires going to the trunk dome light and wired them in there. The blue factory wire is the ground and the silver spotted light blue is the positive lead wire.
Piture 7 is of my alpine bass **** that is ran to the change holder under my dash to the left of the steering wheel
Break down of my stereo is as follows:
Head unit: Alpine ILX-007
Interior Speakers: Rockford Fosgate Punch P1650
4 Channel Amp (interior speakers): Alpine MRP-F250
Subwoofers: Alpine type-R SWR12D2 (2 OHM)
Mono Amp: Alpine MRX-M110 (wired in a 2 OHM load)
Audiobahn Capacitor
