Interchangable suspension?

I'm changing my shocks and struts on my 2011 civic coupe. I hear the sedan has a slightly softer ride. Whereas the coupe is more firm? I read that these parts are interchangable from coupe to sedan. Anyone have anymore details? I want to buy sedan shocks and struts and put them on my coupe

I would be very surprised to find that they were not interchangable, but I do not know for certain.
