2014 LX for 18.9 OTD Price?
2014 LX for 18.9 OTD Price?
What do you guys think? I've been shopping around for LX's for a while... Dealer quoted me for $18,9000 for a 2014 Civic LX with mudguards.
This price is slightly below the quoted KBB and Edmunds prices but it still seems a lot more expensive than what I could potentially get.
I am wondering then what the rest of you think of this price!
split into numbers, the car itself is 17,900. Somehow titles, taxes and fees come out to be around $1050... I am in maryland (6% tax), this would be a new registration plate and all that jazz. I am getting financing through the dealership (qualify for 0.9%) and that gives me a $500 rebate which brings my price down to 18.9
Please help me, I am going in tomorrow to talk about signing...

What does Edmunds say the "invoice price" is?
If you are financing, does it really matter much what they quoted you?
If you are paying CASH, that's a different story.
It's sales. They can show you whatever they want you to see on paper.
Do your own math yourself.

MSRP is $19,995
Edmunds says that the "true market value" is $19,054, and the dealer invoice is $18,781.
KBB says that the fair purchase price is $18,951, with the dealer invoice as $18,631.
And why wouldn't it matter how much they quoted me if I am financing? According to Experian I have 812 credit, so I am pretty sure I would get financing for however much I wanted...
Thanks in advance

Make them throw in oil changes for 2 years or something like that. When we got my wife's SI I got them to throw in window tinting (cause the orange clashed with the red in the seats.) He came back to the table with the tinting charge on the agreement sheet. I just gave them a price to start the haggle and said i wanted the tinting free.
