I want to replace the bumper cover. I have found painted (black) ones ready to install. would you guys recommend, or not, doing this? it'll be much cheaper than buying one and having it painted. but I don't want any problems.

Depending on the amount of damage, our bodyshop has repaired some original plastic bumper covers quite well.
Others are too damaged, and the bodyguys know the limitations of the repairs.


Your link is to an aftermarket part. I can't offer any opinion.
