Hello All,

I've recently purchased a 2013 Civic Hatch, I was thinking of chucking on some 18" 2010 Civic Type R rims a mate is selling but he's in Qld and I'm in SA.
I was wondering if anyone would know if they fit. The Typre R rims are:

Rims:
Size: 18"
Width: 7.5"
Offset: +55
PCD: 5x114.3

Tyres:
Width: 225
Aspect Ratio: 40
Rim Size: 18"

If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated.

We don't have hatchback cars over here, but I'd assume the suspension and all is very similar to our coupes and sedans.

Pull one of your wheels off and measure it, compare numbers. See how much clearance you have and do some math?

I'd HOPE they would fit....
...If I can stuff stock 18x8 Accord wheels with 225/40/18 tires onto my 12 Civic, I'd think you can take factory wheels from another 5 bolt Civic ok.

My only issue on my car was the gap between the rim inner lip and the front struts. I have about 3mm clearance, which isn't much.

Those are pretty conservative specs, so I'm 99% sure they will fit fine. Normally, the only thing I would worry about would be brake clearance, but since they are coming from a Type R (bigger brakes most likely), you really don't need to worry about that.
