Should I trade my car in for the 13 civic ex-l?

I have a 2012 2.5 nissan altima, nothing wrong with the car. Its fully loaded, has leather/nav/bose ect. However, I recently sat inside the new 2013 honda civic ex-l, and really loved the new look inside and dash board. WOuld it be stupid of me to trade my car in for the 13 civic? The features I'd be losing is auto dimming, home link, push to start, powered seats, bose, and the 2.5 ltr engine. What would you do?

A loaded EX can rival the price of base model Accord.

If the Nissan works for you, stick with it. The Nissan and the Civic are two differnt class of cars. If you feel you want to get out of the Nissan for other reasons, try out an Accord and also a Civic.

My only regret with my Civic is the amount of blind spots. I always back into a parking space, otherwise it does everything else very well.

Ezone, most of the newer small cars are like this. They all have that short side glass and high rear deck. Without using the mirrors backing up is very dangerous. In 2011, someone I knew bought a Buick Regal. It was completely necessary to have a camera on this car.

I don't think it is limited to just small cars. Seems to be a trend overall.

Or maybe I'm just getting old and can't turn my head around like an owl anymore. Or Linda Blair.

I have a 2012 Chevy Malibu as a rental right now and the thing is ALL blind spots...I was shocked after my 1999 civic EX. I could see everything in that...In the malibu I can't even change lanes left on the highway without pulling a neck muscle.

Like mentioned before, this school of car syling really sucks.

We have had my wife's Escort wagon for like 13 years and the car seems like an observation deck compared to my Civic.

I strongly suggest our Civic members learn to back in to parking spaces.

From what I know, both are excellent cars. If I were you, I would compare them in these categories:

1) MPG (if your looking to save some money on gas Civic wins)
2) Monthly Pay (Compare them both just to be careful on future expenses)
3) Replacement Parts (Depends on the parts but Honda tends to be a little more expensive on OEM, but they very good nonetheless. Don't have that much intel on cost of parts on Nissan)
4) Smile in your face while you drive (Doesn't matter what you drive as long as you drive it with a smile on your face, why pay less for a car that you don't like)
