Installing new windshield wipers

I wanted to install new windshield wipers since mine have now dulled down. They are regular stock windshield wipers. I was curious as to what material I should try to find, if anyone knows of great brands to replace mine with and what I should avoid.

Re: Installing new windshield wipers

bosch micro edge is really the only blade i would recommend, and ive tried em all. you can also go down a few sizes like 16/18 instead of 19/21 and they will perform way better.

Re: Installing new windshield wipers

I use rain-x latitude and they work FANTASTIC for me.
My friend has a truck and said his latitudes were horrid.
I guess some cars they work better, but on my 2006 civic sedan they are really great.

I would also suggest getting the rain-x wiper fluid, its like 3$ for a jug that will fill up your reservoir twice, and after applying it you don't even need wipers above 50 mph, unless you are in an absolute downpour.

Re: Installing new windshield wipers

Just get the refill blades from honda. Everytime I used rain-x it made my wipers shutter and make all kinds of noise, havent used since dont see a need to.

Re: Installing new windshield wipers

because rain-x eats rubber. other treatments like aquapel are better.
