Interior Lighting Question

I have 2010 Honda Civic Coupe LX. I want to change the rear dome light light bulb from its stock to a new blue LED light. I'm not sure exactly how to get the plastic dome off the light fixture. If anyone could tell me that would be great. Also any suggestions for a light?? Thanks in advance.

Re: Interior Lighting Question

I havent seen the 2010 lights, but like most dome lights, I would probably guess there is a little slit in the plastic where u can stick a small screwdriver in to pry it open

Re: Interior Lighting Question

Use the corner of a razorblade and pry the slit that was talked about earlier. Once its gapped, use your fingernails and it will slide right now.

Warning tho, blue lights will severely cut down on the brightness of the light itself. I put a blue bulb in my dome light before and it just made everything look like crap at night.
