Aux audio input

Found a lot of search results but none had the info I was looking for.

'07 Civic with stock audio. There is a switch for Aux input, but I have searched the location where the owners manual says its supposed to be but still cant find a jack.

Was this optional in some cars? If it was then can you get a "kit" to put the jack in?

Or is it just hiding VERY well and I have to dig deeper into the dash to find it?

Thanks,

-SP

Re: Aux audio input

I think the AUX input, is for a 6 disk changer, HD radio, XM, not the AUX 3.5mm cord you're thinking of

It should be a RCA Red/White, or Black/White

Re: Aux audio input

LX never had aux input...it might be easier to buy aftermarket radio...

Re: Aux audio input

idk what year they became standard, but my '10 LX sedan has an AUX jack located directly under the 12 volt outlet.

I think 09+ all hondas came equipped with AUX input, i know my 09 pilot had it

BUT, like i said, if you're looking at the button, and it says CD/AUX
that is NOT a 3.5mm AUX input (for your MP3/4 players)
It is an auxilary input for an external 6 disk CD changer, or XM that uses RCA
