iPod Connection issues

Lately I have been having issues getting the HU to recognize my iPod. After plugging it in, HU reads-Connect retry. I don't have any issues in other cars or on any computers. I tried a different cord and same issue. Anyone else have any issues with this?

Re: iPod Connection issues

which headunit? alot of them sometimes get messed over time and you have to reset them (either with a front reset button or by disconnecting power). then it should work normally. but you will lose any saved settings like radio presets.

Re: iPod Connection issues

Whatever HU comes with the EX non navi. Losing presets wouldn't bother me, as long as the iPod works. I never listen to Omaha radio, not too many things are considered a worse fate.

Re: iPod Connection issues

with the ipod plugged in, try to disconnect the battery and see if that helps. or if its easier, disconnect the power plug behind the radio. im guessing there is no reset button on the factory unit? something you could push in with a pen.

Re: iPod Connection issues

How about fuse box?

premium radio with IPOD connection is for 09+ models. I think you are under warranty for the radio. I got mine replaced with peeling display at 5K miles...
