I'm fairly new to audio modifications and need a little help and guidance.
Recently I got a brand new EX-L Sedan. I'm wanting to put a Subwoofer in it without having to take out the stock radio (I'd prefer not to, at least). What is the best choice for a subwoofer, or what should I be looking for in order to do this?
Thanks

I too have an EXL and know it can be done, but you'll lose the rear speakers because thats the line that the'll use. Go to your local auto stereo ***** house and ask them...the'll know. Maybe about 300 to 400 bucks depending on what kind of amp and sub you choose.
Also Honda make one too that mounts on the rear deck...but not as good as a real sub.

Just splice the wires to the rear speaker. Route the wires from the head unit into a crossover. The crossover should allow you (at least the one I had did before I revamped my system) to separate it into a L/R output as well as a sub output. Route the sub output to an amp, then from the amp to the sub.

Talk to Crutchfield. I ordered a RF 10" in a closed box with a RF 150watt amp. Had to get a line output converter but still have all factory speakers running, not that it sounds that great with them, but you don't have to have them go unused.
