Maint. Schedule - '10 Civic

I have poured all through the manuals that came with my brand new, 2010 Civic and I can not find the traditional maintenance schedule. This new Civic's computer apparently lets you know when the maintenance items are due. That's all fine and dandy but I want to know specifically (in writing) what the mileage point is for each scheduled maintenance item. I've searched all over the net and can find nothing.. just reference to the car telling you when it's time.

Where can I get a detailed maintenance schedule for a 2010 Civic????

Yeah, "older" being the operative word here. I'm unable to find one for my 2010. In the owners manual for the '99 Civic I own it's spelled out clearly. It doesn't appear in any of the manuals for my 2010 civic.

Surely there is a maintenance schedule for a 2010 Civic published somewhere!

Re: Maint. Schedule - '10 Civic

I'm sure you know that the 2010 civic is equipped with the Maintenance Minder system. It will throw you a code on your display that will tell you what maintenance is required next. To know what the codes mean go by this:

I know it's not a schedule, I was unable to find one myself. Hopefully this helps even just a bit.

The average guy is not supposed to work on their car themselves. They make it a mystery so the dealership can at least charge you to reset the light after telling you what to check.

Re: Maint. Schedule - '10 Civic

I would like to see this schedule also. I know, I've read all kinds of forum posts from people who say "just do what the 'puter says". That's all fine and good, but work recently paid off for some trips that I took in the car, and I would like to put the money back into the car. Now, while I have the money. You know how that goes. It's difficult to ask the computer what it's going to complain about next!! So a schedule would let me see what's almost due, and I could do the preventive maintenance, perhaps a bit ahead of schedule.

Re: Maint. Schedule - '10 Civic

I set my own schedule on my 05 and 2010. My MM always reads 40%-30% at 5000 miles.

Oil change/tire rotation every 5k
Air/Cabin filters and ATF drain and re-fill every 25k
Brake fluid change at 3 years.

You can look at what the MM is going to be calling for by holding the reset button as if you are going to reset MM, once it starts flashing release it. The codes due at end of this maintenance cycle will be displayed when the display is flashing. I have checked it right after reset and again later when the % display is 30%-40% and it stays the same throughout. (waiting to see when it will actually call for atf service)
