2006 civic automatic trans. click

I bought a used civic 2006 a week ago, changed transm. fluid, i put in it more than recomended. and now i can hear a metallic click when shefting from N to R, and from N to D.
is that normal/

my 02 has always done it since new. single click as it shifts into gear. just wait til car grabs the gear and starts moving before pressing the gas.

yeah trans fluid needs to be at the top line on the dipstick when checked hot (car fully warmed up, engine running). never overfill engine oil and trans fluid.
