Fix one thing, now another? Engine question

'08 Si sedan. Last week or so I've noticed in the morning that when I back out of the driveway and put the car in gear that there is some lurching of the engine/vehicle until the engine seems to warm up. Same thing noted in the afternoon, but not as much so, when leaving work. Temps here in N. Texas have been in the 40-50's at lowest point. Suggestions/ideas? Did a search but didn't find a similar discussion. No issues past 1/2 gears.

maybe try changing the trans fluid. should smoothen things out. if its too cold, sometimes the fluid takes a while to warm up and flow properly.

This will be third winter with the car coming up. I don't recall an issue such as the first two years but then again it didn't have many miles on it (now has 21K mi.). I'll keep a look/see on it.
