Hi all,
I got my new 09 civic coupe,MT about 3 weeks back. I'm a first time buyer, I some how have this feeling that the engine is making very loud noise. I have noticed this sound even after it is completely warm. I dunno if this is common issue in Civic.If would appreciate if anyone can throw some light on this issue

Well I believe a new car should be quite and shouldn't make loud engine noise unlike the used car. I dunno if this is normal in civic? I opened the hood and there is kinda rattling sound from the side of engine oil.

Is it the injector tick?

Hi Redneck. Ty for the reply. I dunno if it is a injector tick, can you tell me how to check the injector to know if it is really a injector ticking? I also had this rattling sound comming from the passenger side of engine on a free way. when ever I get onto a rough road on free way there is a continous rattling sound from the passenger side too. thanks for your help

Oh jeez. I thought maybe it was a little noisy sitting still but if its doing that on the highway maybe its worth taking it into Honda to have them look at it. Sorry I can't be more help.
