Hi all new to this forum.

I'm thinking of getting a brand new Civic. Havn't driven one yet, just wondering how rattle free the interiors are on these cars, because i'm really fussy about rattles hahah.. and i know they are made in thailand now, not japan any more.
It is the 4 door sedan Vti-l i am looking at.

eh, every car ive been in has some sort of rattle. just test drive it on a cold day and see for yourself. i remember driving 8thgen for test drive and yeah i could hear stuff rattling in the dash.

All car's rattle, but you might check for where the sound is coming from, in my 08 I founded that things in my glove box where rattling I fixed that by laying a towel down.

Also check the trunk, side pockets and if all else fails ...take it to your dealer

mine's almost a year old and still rattle-free...

as far as where they're made, mine says it was made in canada not thailand

I have a rattle in my rear deck that I have not yet diagnosed. Also, an intermittent one in the driver's side B pillar.

I agree with those before me... All cars rattle. If you find one that doesn't rattle, it's only because it's not moving. Drive one to find out how much you'll be annoyed. On a cold day is a good suggestion.

how do you find out where your car was made? and i noticed the panel where the seat belt comes out on the driver side rattles from time to time...

then just fill in the boxes about your car...it'll have a field called "Origin" that should fill itself, which will tell you where your car was made

08 civic si
this car has a sunroof and trunk rattle. car pulls to the right and has a very stiff suspension. has only 5000kms and bringing it in shortly for service with a long repair list.
