My civic got hit.
My civic got hit.
I had my car parked at a UMD parking lot on sunday and someone decided to hit the rear drivers side (above and towards the back of the wheel well). This sucks. I have to pay $250 dollar deductible because the people weren't kind enough to leave a note or call insurance about it, so I guess it's a hit and run. Damage isn't too bad I left it to get repaired, and I'm not sure whether my car will be salvage titled or not anymore. This sucks
yea thats real gay but has also happend to me on new years eve. The car scraped my rear quarter and i can't see fixing it so about a month ago another car backed into my passenger side door and i caught them. Long story short they decided not to turn it into the insurance company and i got 1000$ bucks for the damage which will go towards fixing that previous scrap and a whole door from a junkyard
Solution!
"Damn I found out that it's 500$!!!
Being in college + No job = Financial problems"
Have the shop rack up the price so that you dont have to pay for the $250.00 deductible or atleast a lower amount. It always works, the shop won't lose a dime and the majority of the insurance adjusters won't care either.
Or... have the shop use used parts (at the end it wont make a diff, they will match your vehicle's color)
