This is the second time this has happened. It was working fine last night, but tonight when I locked the car up, the red LED on the steering wheel doesn't blink anymore, this happened last time when they had to fix the security system. I'm just wondering why this keeps happening?

I only want helpful posts, none of these "OEM security systems suck ***" etc...

Did you happen to insert your key, uninsert, reinsert and so on? I had this issue once. For what ever reason I did something like that and completely disabled the security system. Check your security system's manual for the proper methods and try those out.

I'm not sure, my Dad had the car out today and said it happened, so I have no clue what he did to it
