if you have the cash, take it to a local speedshop. they will probably have it done in less than an hour, and should only charge you about $30-$60.

or, see if you can drill holes in the sliders that it came with. if you can line up the holes and have it safely mounted, you should be in business.

david02civic: why would you reply with such useless information? the guy has a question, and here you are trying to be a smarta s s.

you could try to drill or midify the brackets to fit our cars even if the breackets sit right and the holes dont line up then drill holes that line up as long as there drilled on a thick part of the metal . you dont want yer seat to rip out if you brake hard. or use the holes on the brackets and drill new holes in the car floor.

this guy i know drilled a bunch of holes all in his floor. It worked, but it looks kinda shitty. As they say "measure twice, cut once." Ohh, and be careful, that guy i know missed drilling his fuel lines by less than an inch... so he says.

i thought matrix had brackets for our cars... I wonder if other brackets (like the Tenzo ones) would fit on other seats...??

to be honest, I think that we're getting seriously screwed.

I don't think anyone makes a perfect fitting bracket for ANY car.

they all say "May need to be modified: take seats to your local installer to have them professionally installed."

hrm. bishes!!

I want the tenzo seats!!! but, I'm too po' right now

Update: I bought the tenzo seats

but...they aren't coming with brackets.

I've been told that they won't fit on the stock brackets? It's coming with sliders, though.

Reality Check: you there? how did the install go?

I'm not getting brackets.

I am trying to reuse the stock brackets.

CivicGoh: when the seats come in, I'll PM you for help! Thanks!

yeah, but that's using an aftermarket bracket

I'm talking about using STOCK brackets.

You're talking about using aftermarket brackets...which is what I think we need, because we apparently can't use the stock brackets.

that's what I heard, too.

actually, I was sent pictures of where you have to drill...but FlyRiceRacer02 and RedDragon333 say you can't use the stock brackets, because the width of the sliders on the tenzo seats is different than the width of the sliders on the stock seats?
(by width of sliders, I mean distance apart).

hrm...I guess I'll just see what happens when I get the seats!

thanks neonimpact!

optauto has the brackets for $30 each...a decent price.

MMRUSA has them with sliders for $130. ouch.

I was quoted $150 for JUST the brackets!!!! ouch!

I think I'll be hitting up options auto salon for the brackets.

thanks again NeonImpact! I didn't even think to check optauto!

I bought actual Tenzo-R brackets for the Tenzo seat. Seat isn't installed anymore but it fit fairly well. Don't know why you didn't buy Tenzo brackets meant to fit 01+ civics.

I know you're trying to resuse the stock brackets, I did read the enitre thread, if it's that much of a pain I was mainly suggesting to be patient, save up and buy them down the road, it's not worth screwing your car up.
