Ok. Here's my story.
On Friday I began working on installing power windows in my 2001 DX. During the installation I unhooked the battery a few times, to prevent getting electricuted. Yesterday I was able to start my car and test my windows. It worked great. I didn't completely finish until today (everything is back in place), because the weather was crappy.
So after I put my car together, the car was starting weak. I kept coming back to it every other hour and starting it up just to make sure my car still worked. on the 4th try (the next tries afterwards), it would not start; the instrument panel would go crazy and the needles would twitch and click like crazy whenever I turned the key.
It sounds like the battery's dying, when I arm/disarm my Viper alarm. I'm not sure if it's the battery, but I hope it is. The only wire I touched for the install was the 12v wire inside the steering wheel column. I untapped the wire, but the car still won't start.
Maybe the window motors drained it, but it could be other problems? Need help/suggestions. I found a few other threads about this, but I could not find any answers for my situation.

When you started it to make sure it was ok.....did you rev the engine at all? At idle there isn't enough current flowing back into the bat. to charge it. Try jumping the bat. If it starts just fine than thats probably your only issue. Your alarm does draw on the bat...as does your radio and your ecu( not much but enough to keep all your settings) If the bat never got a chance to charge...then you rearmed your alarm...the bat never got a chance to catch up. Autozone (or something like it in your area) does free bat checking if you'r concerned.
Good Luck
PS. If you did charge it..and still have a problem...then sorry for the long and useless to you post.
