it should bolt right up.. and you would need to change the ecu to accept vtec... and the wiring needs to be changed as well.. my opinion is that the vtec block on the d17s are not worth it...
anyone do this yet ? i know its not worth it to tell you the truth this car is not worth hotroding at all but my wife and i are stuck with it and its slow as ***** ..it needs a little something at least if its vtec there are ways to get some more power out of it im used to 400hp DSM'S so when i get in this car i want to shoot my self ...shame good lookin car
more power? Custom Turbo :-D... and if your just using it for daily driving VTEC swap I/H/E I think there is a custom intake manifold being made right now, perhaps you can see if you can get one of those. That should make the car more peppy for daily driving, it wont make it a drag car. But it will be significantly quicker, also Iv noticed not letting my obese friends in my car helps get better gas milage.

no one here as done this swap to date. It should bolt in then fixz the ECU t accept the VTEC and you should be ready to go. Most people dont think its worth it. As far as us liking our cars. I love mine i just wish honda didnt screw us when it came to the Dseries. Should have put in a Kseries motor but i like my coupe
