2000 si ecu chip work on 7th gen ??
ok like me and a friend were talkin about performance chips, and i told him that there isn't a chip out there that would really work on my car. And he asked what about a 2000 si chip ?? like i am not sayin it would work, and please dont bash on me for askin a ? like this. because i'm not sayin it would work. just would it be possible and even any gains if i used it. so replies are welcome. if this might work, i'm headin out to a junkyard to get an ecu then. and see what happens.

Rep Power: 336 DOHC chip on a SOHC eninge....not gonna run.
the ecu wont recognize the other cam as well as some other things, and you'll get a check engine light. then it'll goto its "safe" mode...and even thine it might not run.

Rep Power: 0 I bought a Venom chip and it made a very noticable differnce and it just taps into your MAP sensor and your TPS sensor and thats all.. it took me like 15 minutes to install and it's well worth it... look into it.
