They are full of it. They can only adjust the toe w/o the camber kits, which actually saves the mechanic time. He doesn't have to mess with the camber.

I take mine to NTB as well. 60 bucks and it takes the guy like 20mins to do it. I have been going there for about 7 yrs to get alignments done. They have done all my cars when they were lowered and when they weren't. An alignment is an alignment, plain and simple.

Most shops just shy away from lowered cars. They don't want to mess with it.

i agree with mbow. they are bullshitting you. take it to NTB, you wont regret it. plus they have an up to date 4 wheel alignment machine, i believe everything is electronic or somehting like that. the guy at my shop was trying to explain it to me. plus they are very careful getting your ride up on ramps if it is lowered and they also still give you a, i believe, 60,000 mile warrenty on the alignment, might be shorter, ill have to find my reciept.

NTB doesnt sell camber kits but you can get them from 120 to 160 bux shipped depending on the name brand and where. I got my SPC camber kit for 159 shipped to TX from www.tornactive.com

i do my own alignments at the shop i work at but besides the point, we get all kind of kids coming in with there lowered trucks for allignments and we charge 75 (because they are lower and usually have larger wheels which are harder to put the sensors on) anyway what you need to do is go to a shop and talk to the manager in person and tell him that you want an allignment, do not tell him you dont have a camber kit and chances are he will spot it but wont say anything because all he is messing with is the toe, do not offer the fact that its lowered unless he asks you...........try that just dont run in there and say "hey man my civ is lowered w/o a camber kit how much?????"

i probably wouldnt worry about a camber kit with a 1 inch drop...i would still get an alignment to make sure however.

Buy them online, and install them yourself if your mechanically inclined enough. Then take it in for an alignment. Here a couple of places that has SPC kits online for cheap.

$125 shipped or $99 shipped

I've read that the Eibachs are made by SPC.. dunno.
