Carbon Fiber
Any one know what is needed for the fabrication of Carbon Fiber parts, a friend and i would like to start maybe making lips, wires cover or interior trims for our cars.... thanks,,,

You need carbon fiber mat, and an epoxy resin. I believe it acutally works similiar to fiberglass. Im sure a google search would turn up something, and i know that select products sells materials. A little pricy though, $68 a linear foor for the mat, $68 a gallon for the resin. You might try to PM white rabbit, i know he has done some carbon fiber work inside his car.
you can get carbon weave for $32 a yard and you have to use epoxy resin, not the polyester or any other form of resin. thats where it gets truly expensive.
otherwise its 100% like fiberglass. you just do all teh prepwork for paint or vinyl, only you use clearcoat instead.
