I got in my Kamikaze header yesterday and I can't get the stock header off. I have all five bolts up top off and the two spring bolts under the car that connects the header to the pipe. The only one left is a bolt that is facing away from me thats nut showing which is welded on. How do I get that one off. Also how to get off the second o2 sensor, the one lower on the stock header.

Anybody with an LX who has installed a header on their car. I cant go over top to get the bolt because the o2 sensor is in the way and I cant get the o2 sensor out. Oh, and yes I've searched.

Do you have ramps you can drive the car on up to or are you just sliding jacks under the car to lift it up?

The lower 02 sensor will most likely need 2 pliers to get off, one wrapped aorund the base of it and one to loosen it up as for the otehr two bolts I'm not sure, but remember TO SPRAY THE CARP OUT OF THE REMAINING BOLTS WITH WD-40 or some other penetrating oil

Can you wrap on earound the bottom of the 02 sensor and then use another one to put on the nut and twist off then?

Thanks for the help, it turns out we were too tired to figure it out. We actually had a wrench that was able to get to it. I feel like a horses patoot. Any who, later.

It is definitely louder. Made my car sound alot different. Gains were good for about 30 minutes, then my check engine light came on. I have an o2 sim that is goin on tomorrow to take care of that.

Ike, where'd you get the O2 sim?

and does the kamikaze remove the cat completely? if so, that might be why its louder...

I got the o2 sim from importparts.com, they are slow; and yes the cat is gone and that it is why its louder.
