Question Hood angle

I have seen some cars with the hood angle at like 90 degrees. Does anyone know how to make this work on our vic's, it is mostly on earlier gen that I have seen it on.

There are two holes that the hood prop fits in to. One is up high on the hood thereby making it open at a 60 degree angle to the ground. Then there's another hole down low. Put the hood prop into that hole and the hood will sit open at near 90 degrees. Is that what you're asking about?

Will the increased angle bend or damage the hood if I use the lower opening?
