ok something wrong with my power locks the switch dose not work when the key is out of the ingntion.
But when the key is in they work fine. and also what i noticed was when i hit the switch for the lock downward (unlock) my l.e.d light from my alarm blinks relly dim. Now the alarm is hooked up to the door locks for the keyless entree. and the final thing is the my dome light dosent work when the door is open but when i hi tthe switch to the on postion it works..
i have a feling that this has something to do with the alram but why would it all of a sudden start doing this? i just installed my alpine head unit yesterday but i know that has nothing to do with it.
it was a dealer installed alarm (EXecutive) but not sure if its covered under warrentee.
so what can i do to see what it is?
and do you guys have any idea if it might be anything else?

check the brain for loose connections, maybe? if they installed it, they shoudl have a warrantee on labor. as them what the deal is, it cant be anything you did....

are you sure that it has nothing to do with the head unit? since there is a wire that runs to the radio for an alarm LED, i would try to put the old head unit back and see if the problem still occurs, if it doesn't then you know you didn't hook up the head unit correctly
