if u get it tuned it might actually be worth the money u spend into getting the cam gear and s-asf...

what do u have LX? EX?

u probably wont get anymore than 5-10 hp somewhere across the powerband if its tuned. right now you're probably getting somewhere around 5 hp. heh. and its probably only a bit in mid range.. and top end.. your low end is probably gone.. but eh.

get the dyno and find out. heh. if u got the money to burn.

ok, i did my tuning today...and that's SUCKSSSS

109 HP at the wheel and 107 TQ......(i got a dyno test sheet but i dont know how to post it)..but the dyno before tuning was like 94 HP at the wheel ( with header and exhaust)..

this guy, at the shope, told me that the problem is in the intake manifold..stock manifold does not allow more air to come in.....

I'm thinking of geting HKS intake manifold..you think it worth it??

edit: i dont understend why the hp is so low..maybe this guy from performance shope did something wrong with installation or something??
I just can not belive 109 HP...

Those are good gains for what you have on your car. all you can do is do more stuff. change your intake maiford and throttle body and build the block and you car could handle just about anything. You just have to keep tuning on your car.

those gains arent bad...get the manifold and enjoy a little more gain...but look at the bright side you can probably beat most of the civics on the road if you are a good driver

about manifold..
you should call them and order it..
they going to make 10 ( i'm not sure about number) intake manifolds for 2001- up honda civic (not Si)
first come, first get..
it cost 500 you pay 250 inadvance and 250 on the shipping..

last time i call them, they told me it should be ready very soon..and they told me that this will add another 7 hp on the wheel on stock engine.

so, hopefully i will get at least 120, but who knows..
i let you know when i get it..

hey guys, do you know how i can post a picture..i want to post my dyno

I was thinking about getting it done when I add the cam gear and the pulleys. How much does it cost to do it?

Well, you can't be too negative. Why, because you didn't do a run with the car stock. It almost seems like something took away some power if you have an ex.

Yeah, if you have all those mods on an EX, then something is definitely wrong!

i have lx...
i did a run before tuning..i had on my car header, custom exhaust and high flow cat, that's it..with this set up it was pushing 94 to the wheel..after tuning ( apexi, cam gear, power pulleys, cia) 109 to the wheel, and 107 tq..i think i lost 3 tq because of the 2" exhaust pipe...

but i race my car today with another civic and it feels gooood, even with 109 hp.
