Hey guys, I noticed that new 2003 EX model comes with the leather steering wheel, not like leather cover, it wraps the spokes area too. It seemed pretty nice to me and I was just wondering if this would fit on 2002 model without changing air bag. I asked dealer about it and they quoted me $299 (canadian) for the steering wheel but they are not sure if this will fit or not. Has anyone thought about this? I assumed that size would be same but there are few different thing on 2003 model, airbag design, cruise button, grips on steering wheel, so on. What do you think?

It should fit no problem. I don't know about the leather part but I know it is a different design. all of it should fit right in.

Hmm... Wow, leather now!? Damn, I think I'll never buy the first year of a new generation of car ever again. I'll always buy the last year from now on. All of the improvements have been made and all of the bugs ironed out.

Thanks guys. I've decided to try to make DIY custom leather steering wheel which will cover all the spokes area. I'll post some pictures if everything goes well. Wish me luck
