i was going to, i did my power locks after market (DEI, works with my alarm), but i was considering going OEM for the windows. Then again, i dont really mind rolling down my windows, so im probably just gonna get a sun roof instead. I dunno. I still thinking.

im going to get power window for my dx, my homeboy did his 6th gen for a 150 a door at the dealer, here check this out

ive installed my own power windows in my own car and have had zero problems with it, i dont even have "power window switches" in there, they work and have always worked fantastically, no issues after 6 months, my friends still tell me they go faster than any stock car they have ever seen.
and ive always trusted autoloc for al my powerwindow/doorpop/funt toy accessories
aftermarket is fine.in fact, better, because you will be left with a hole in your door if you get the oem windows, which will cost you $$$$ at teh dealership. far more than autoloc. at least teh aftermarket windows come with nubs so you can cover it up!

I had a couple kits from JC WHITNEY i dont remember the exact name brand, but all three were crap, they were loud, stuck and vibrated my doors like crap..........just my opinions, id personally wait until someone wrecks, or whatnot.....heaven forbid im the one to wreck though (knock on wood)

ooooh.
if anyone needs window regulators (motor and lining) for a 01 Civic Sedan... I got two that I'm willing to sell for a much cheaper price than dealer's.
its for the left and right side... course I only got two. heh. you'll need two more for the back.

power windows require wiring to do their thing. mine are reall simple, and the switches are in teh center console, so i literally only have a single wire going through to the door, for power. but if you want power windows that automatically go up at the push of a button, or have fancy features, or hook up to your alarm, or do all teh sort of crazy stuff that a power window does on most stock cars now, thats just more wiring.
want to have a switch on each door, want to be able ot lock out yrou other doors controls, more wiring, etc etc etc etc.
