Question Type RS front Lip Installation

I'm getting my Type RS Front Lip painted today. I want to install it myself, but it didn't come with any directions and there are a couple of different ways I can do it. I wanted to get feedback from the people here who have the lip and see how they installed it. It's the Type-RS front lip from E-bay. The one AK, Acekicker, and Hawk have. I'd rather not leave it at the body shop for a few reasons, not to mention I do most of the installs on my own car. I installed the OEM rear lip on Friday.

Also, I tried searching for the search feature doesn't seem to work too well; I wasn't getting any results. I tried about 20 different ways of searching too.

I just put 2 screws on each side and used zipties on the bottom (not recommended).

I suggest you put 2 screws on each side and try to drill at least 2 screws on the bottom. You might need some sort of bracket... not sure.

Where did you get the double sided tape from? I noticed yesterday that the lip came came with all sorts of hardware. It even came with a bracket of sorts. it's ok if I don't use these? Also, i'm assuming you guys removed the rubber lip that runs underneath the car?

You don't need the Double Sided tape.. :P
You can buy it at Home Depot. 3M double sided tape heavy duty 5lb hold.

I don't have that rubber lip and i did not use all that hardware. Wayyyy too much crap. Just play around with it and you'll figure out how to keep it there.

Did you just use self tapping screws right into the bumper to hold on the lip, or did you use one of those metal inserts like on the OEM kit?

you don't need any of that crap... just 4 screws...double side tape is highly recommended tho cuz it keeps it from moving out of place in the front...although the screws already hold the side tight, the front still moves if you force it so double side tape the front...and thats all i did...oh yea you don't need to use those metal inserts...i didn't even use it when i had my OEM kit...
