Rep Power: 0 now i dont know how to take the dash apart, but i did take eletronics for two years, so i know alittle. way i figure, to add somthing to somthign else, like the scanner to the LED you should not have to ground. just get to someplace where the wires are going to the LED and attach them accordingly, like red to red and black to black. i dont know if this makes sense! i hope it helps!

Rep Power: 0 I dont know exactly how to do it, but i know its a lot more complicated than connecting it to the current alarm LED. It needs to get hooked up to the battery and some part of the alarm system. It was in a post from a while back but i can't seem to find it.
