how can i connect neon lights to/.......
ok i saw that somebody said that they connected thir neon lights to the alarm remote, and he just press the button and the lights go on? is that possible? and how can it be done??
I have my neon hooked up to my Viper remote. Its really cool. I really like it. When I got my neons put on my car I asked the guy where he was going to put the switch. He told me that if I didn't want to put holes in my dash he could hook it up to my remote for my alarm. Hell yeah so he did it. I got it done at a place called Car Toyz here in VA. I am not sure how he did it but I saw that there is a link posted by Hcivic02. I know that he put in a relay and a 3 pin harness but other than that I am of no help. Sorry
The only way that the lights come on is if you use the switch from the remote. If the alarm goes off the neon will not light up. I talked to a cop last night and yeah Gotti is right you can have the lights on if the vehicle is standing still. Once you start moving on a public road you can get a ticket. Thats for VA but I heard that in GA it doesn't matter. But I don't know if that is all true.

all you need to do is wire a remote which closes a circuit
wire that circuit to a relay
wire the high current/voltage side of the relay to the battery and to the transformer for your neons
you should be able to pick up the simple parts at a local store.. the remote may be the only difficult/slightly expensive thing to find
