*what does this fuse do?*
does anyone know EXACTLY what the fuse named "BACKUP" does on our cars??? i think its located under our dash or something. i'm trying to figure out because this fuse is causing a drain on my battery.
The back up fuse when blown, or removed (in my case) will cause your light/key reminder to stop buzzing, it will cause your gauges to flutter when you roll the ignition, and a few other things if I am not mistaken.
Fuse Number 9 (BACKUP): 10 Amp; Connects to a white/red wire; Data link connector (DLC), Gauge assembly, Immobilizer receiver unit, Keyless reciever unit, Multiplex control unit, Security control unit, Audio unit
