Do you have an internal or external wastegate?
There's a DIY floating around somewhere on the net that shows you how to make a manual boost controller for under $5 from parts that you can get at Home Depot!! LOL I swear! My boy has one on his 97 turbo EX and it works like a charm. The reason I ask what kind of wastegate you have is......he has an external, and I know it works, but I'm not sure if it would work with an internal. If you're interested, let me know and I'll find you a link.
EDIT: Ok, nevermind, I just saw your picture. I'll ask and see if the MacGyver Boost Controller will work on internal WG.

I wonder how much he spent, i bet its lower than another member spend 1600....how much can you get out of 3spi? that should be a slight kick in acceleration
I'd be really happy with this myself.

wellll all i basically want is a little kick in acceleration
secondly there rnt many supras or rx7s here. hardly 1 or 2 that ive seen around.but every body has civics with ur normal I/H/E, soo all i want is someyhin to take em down easily. and i guess a 3psi turbo will do.
oh and guess how much my turbo cost.....
only 500 dollars (US). with intercooler and a down pipe.

I got a turbo for free! take that lol. I have a really good friend. But I just dont have the money for anything else . I'd rather have the supporting mods first, better clutch, the fuel issue obviously, better brakes, suspension...blah blah. It's gonna be a while.
*BTW - The turbo is a Greddy T25, with 32k miles on it. very good condition, and I will port and clip it before I have it put on my car.

With 3 to 4 psi would you need an intercooler....i mean with one would the turbo perform longer (last longer)
Yea i agree im not a speedfreak so a lil Si power in my vic is good enough

how much power are we looking at with a turbo boosting 3-4 psi? something along the lines of a base RSX perhaps?
and with this do you still need to take care of the car as if it were running very high boost? (however you have to take care of a turbo'ed car)
Bboysushi
