Side-View Mirror Installation

Hey guys! I need some help. I jus picked up my OEM EX Side-View Mirrors (I have an LX) and I need some help/instructions on how to get that small black triangular piece out so I can take out the LX side-view mirrors.

You chould take the door panel off as well so that you can reach the bottom nut.

Thanks Dr5D and Toca! One more thing... how do you take the panel out. I pulled a little and got one clip out, but that's it. Is there a screw somewhere? Or do I pull some more? Honda will actually do the M3s for you?

I think the EX is painted the color of the car & the LX is probably black??? I'm probably wrong on this one though, heh.

You're correct SDE. The EX has the matching color and the LX is black (plastic dull looking).

ak can only hope to improve
Here are some shots i took when i removed mine.

there is no need to take out the entire door panel, but it's much easier.
In my case, i just popped the black triangular piece (pry it out w/ screwdriver) and remove the bolts.

again...

Thanks so much ak!!!

I was looking at some other DIY pictures... is there only one clip holding that triangular piece in place?
