None of this headers will give dramatic gains, no matter which one do you have or like unless you get the head done. They'll give you something, but not much. The TB and the head are one of the most restrictive parts on our cars!
To get power out of an engine, you need to have a good breathing engine. Sometimes you change a part in your car and you think you gained about 20 or 30hp, but that's on your mind, as soon as you get into a dyno, you'll be amazed! I/H/E will not give you even 10hp on a dyno. Also, in our engines (designed for fuel economy and ultra low emissions) the bigger is not always the better. Those big headers work fine on high flowing heads like the ones found on cars like 99-00SI, Focus Z-Tec, RSX-S etc...

So, if I port my head, I will take more hp? That's what you said?

No because if you put a turbo on you are going to have a different header than what the stock or aftermarket non-turbo headers llok like. I believe that the turbo is secured onto the exhaust manifold which is connected the the downpipe piece for the header.
Not definite if this is how it is but this is just what I remember. Been a whil since I owned a turbo'ed car.

if youre planning on throwin in a turbo on your car...is it really worth changing the header, cause from turbos ive seen, the header is always much different looking than what the DC, HP, Kamikaze, etc. look like. or is it possible to put the header and downpipe on and use that with the turbo?

Aight, I got the Top Speed Header with Downpipe from Circa X....as far as I know i was the first to get it...and it does draw gains....better than the HP Racing Header? I'd say they are the same exact header only with different names....the Top Speed is stainless steel and as far as I know is for the EX trim civic's....i got it for $250 shipped. And I like it alot, and it would not differ any if at all from HP Racing...I'd say get the Top Speed Header if u can't get the HP Racing one....and Bismoto, I don't know why dude bothered posting that header up, they don't even make that style header or any header for our civics!
