So, I got bored like 1/2 hour ago and decided to try this out, and i found an even easier way to do it without even having to go through the firewall, but it only works if you have an existing alarm. What you do is look for the wire coming from your alarm, and follow it into the car, and find where it comes through. From there you splice into it with the constant positive (yellow wire) into your radio. heres a pic of the switch:
Ok...I'm going out to get the materials right now...but when I come back I better see a DIY on how to run the wires through the firewall.
Sorry if running it through the firewall is easy for you...but I'm a newb.

You actually don't need to run it from the battery
Instead of using the battery, you can tap the POWER cable to the radio's 12v source
MUCH easier and cleaner!

Ok...I got a question...How does the siren go off when I push the momentary button? My dad saids that there needs to be a computer of some sort to trigger the siren. He demonstrated by putting the siren to the positive and negative sides of the battery, and the siren did not go off. He said that it is not that simple: battery to wire, to fuse, to momentary switch, to siren, to ground..."Naw" he saids. Is he right? Well...I just want to know...thanx

mine worked fine.... with the diy.... i get sound and my alarm works fine.... but the thing is... my booty call doesn't sound like a booty call.. that's it.. but as for the diy is concerned.. it works...
and i think its battery, then wire, then switch, then switch then wire going back to the positive wire of the siren..there is no ground from the switch..
