removing dash around headunit...

Well i searched and couldnt find it, can somebody give me the link or tell me how its done please???

Hey Injen, man, it's pretty easy. Underneath the HU dash, there is the small area that will come out when you pull on it, it's the one with the cig lighter/power outlet and the pocket on it. Just grab it and pull, there are about 5 clips that hold it in. Then, if you look up, from the floor, you will see two 8mm bolts. Take those out, and don't lose 'em (personal experience, I only have one now.) Now get your fingers on the bar that those bolts were going into, and push out away from the dash. The bottom will pop out and you just pull it out from there. The rest of the HU piece is held in with the same clips as the bottom piece.

the DIY for the blue dashlights removes that piece. dont have the link, but its under DIYs

I just took a flathead screw driver and used it to pry around the edge of the headunit and A/C controls to get that center part out.
