Pop-up headlight washers
Does anyone know where I could get my hands on some OEM pop-up headlight washers (I really only need the actuator but the whole module would help), similar to those on many luxury cars? I've searched quite a bit on Google trying to find factory parts stores similar to Majestic honda, but for BMWs or Audis and the like, but with no luck.

Well, since projector beam headlamps (which I have) are very negatively influenced by a coating of road grime and the like on the lens, I need some way to wash them off while driving. Especially in the winter they get very, very dirty and become almost worthless as far as light output is concerned. I was going to use regular washer nozzles for this, but that didnt work too well, so another alternative is the kind that are elevated like on X5s (but those are more intrusive) or the pop-up style washers.

Yeah, I originally thought of putting mini wipers on for the headlights, but I realized that would not work for the contour of our headlights, plus the large size of them...not to mention it would look kinda ghey
So, I plan to make a custom heated high pressure washer system for the headlights, but the only thing I need is a good nozzle to use. I'd like to have pop-up ones, but I am afraid they will be too expensive to get factory ones from a luxury car place. I might just have to build custom ones...

Is it really that much of a problem? I want to get the TYC's too, but I also live where is freezing half year round and the headlights get all grimy from salt and dirt and what not.

Well, I mean they are still usable and provide [adequate] light, I might have exaggerated a bit However, I am not happy with having them dirty, just because I'm **** I guess, so I am still going to go ahead and do it. I'll make a DIY probly once I get around to completing the project, but it will most likely be in phases: 1) pop-up headlight washers; 2) migrate from low-pressure to high-pressure system; 3) heated fluid source
OR you could try to get hold of the pop up headlight washers from the European 5 door civic. They have it here in Finland anyway.
I was thinking about doing this swap... Mine came with not so good looking stationary washers.
To do it with the real parts you would need except for the washers, a new washer fluid reservoir + the pump for the washers (sitting on the reservoir).

Hey, man, thats a good idea. I thought of doing something like that, but I didnt realize that Honda had any cars with headlight washers. Is there any chance you could check out a Honda Dealership around where you live and see if they can give a price on the parts needed? Is there any place I could find pics of the washers, too?
Thanks.
Thanks.
