HELP QUICK weird fuzzy stuff in engine bay
ok so i got a s-afc yesterday and tuned it so that 4000-7000 rpm it inclines from about 2 to 6 or so ne how i get a check engine light and every time i let off the gas or press the clutch in my car kinda jolts forward ? weird and like slows down sorta ne how i get home pop the hood and i check everything out theres a ton of weird fuzzy looks like instlation in there? im like what the hel its white or light colored instlation i have no tube going from my engine to my intake just duct tape on the intake hole so nothing weird goes in i have no clue what this **** is then if i rev my engine around lower rpm it kinda revs then stops revs than stop but its like a put put noise i dont get it ne one else know whats up?

He means the "hole" on the intake where the "tube" was. This would either be the Intake Air Temp sensor, or the breather hole that connects from the intake to the valve cover. Why didn't you hook the hose up? No need for duct tape.

I think he means the PCV. The tube that goes from the valve cover to the intake. That one? Don't cover it! It's supposed to be connected to the engine. If you try covering it oil will come out of it and get your engine bay all dirty. At least put a little filter on the tube like some people do if you don't want to hook it up to the intake. What you should do though it put an oil catch tank in betwean the valve cover and the intake. That way the oil won't mess up the intake manifold and throttle body. You'll need to empty the catch tank every few thoudand miles. Well, depending on driving habits and catch tank size.
