modifying stock tail lights

modifying stock tail lights
has anyone tried modifying the stock tail lights on the coupe? i really don't like how my tails look like 2 magnets or horseshoes at night. is there any way to change the pattern?

There was a thread where a guy painted his stock tail lights but you'll have to search for it.
Or you can take the easy, yet too common way out, of getting altezzas [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-puke.gif[/IMG] IMO

You can smoke them, paint them, clear them. But in the end, there is still that Horseshoe shape. I recently switched back to my Stock Taillights (just got bored with the TYC's) and I'm planning on cracking open my old APC Altezza's, and painting them black like RIder did to his. We'll have to wait and see though.

Anyone wanna buy mine LOL
im not a big fan of altezza's, so insteed of going the ugly route, i decided to use some left over vinal from when i did my headlight eyebow's. i pretty much used the same concept, and made taillight eyebrows....they look damn tight, i have no digital cam. but if i can use my buddys i will post a pic of them for ya if you want ideas....

you can swap the signal bulb into the brake housing (gotta cut off some plastic for the bulb to fit) and then put the brake lights into the signal housing... problem solved (except when you signal[IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]

I have seen this happen and it looks pretty neat.
It's weak when you turn on your lights and when you signal but it's different.
