i just bought a short ram for my car and it didn't come with instructions... i have all the info i need to take off the stock airbox and put the new one in but only thing i don't know with where do i put the brackets that it came with. and do i really need them?

the brackets are to hold the intake tube into the intake manifold and the filter to the intake tube.

it should just slip on and you have one bolt and it matches up pretty good and you just put the rubber bushing on

yup, what they said.

Mine didn't line up with the intake arm, so i just used a zip tie. [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]
(and no, i did not melt yet)

whats the purpose of the brackets? one is straight and the other is bent at a 90 degree angle
