Hello,

I was curious to find out whether or not it would be possible to add the alarm feature to the existing Honda factory keyless entry system. All I am looking for is the light flashing and horn honking, when the windows are broken or the doors are opened without the key or remote. However I do not want to have to install a completely new alarm system, I am looking for more of an add-on system? Any ideas or help is appreciated.

i have the clifford xl100 (alarm add-on for factory keyless entry). it uses the same remote and uses the same horn. i had mine installed at earmark car audio. i don't think clifford makes this alarm anymore. but u might find it online or at a alarm shop like i did.

it was like $250 installed with hood pin. i paid the alarm itself for $75. it just contains the alarm brain, shock sensor, led, and wiring. that is why it is cheap, but it is a very good alarm.

anyone know where to get that "blue led" instead of red!.....the small flashing light when u arming...........u know what i mean.

alarm shops may or may not have that. i think u can just replace the led with a blue led from radio shack or something.
