Chipped center ring or alignment?

My center rings are chipped and stuff and in kind of bad condition, would that cause the wheel to shake or do i need an alignment?

Are you talking about hub rings? If so, a damaged one can cause vibration in the wheel and probably isn't too safe to use. If the problem wheel is in the front, a temporary solution would be to swap the ring with an undamaged one from the rear.

If that doesn't work, then either tire balance or alignment may be your problem.

How would the alignment cause the wheel to shake? Also if that is the case would just a front wheel alignment fix it or would i have to get a 4 wheel alignment?

Check to make sure the wheels are properly balanced...that could be 90% of your problem there....
