Anyone bought an Alarm online?
I need to find a place to buy a good alarm for my 01LX. I've seen a crap load of alarms with all different types of features and am just overwhelmed with all this looking. I just wanted to know if anyone could point out a good website that offers quality alarms with decent prices? Thanks

Go with anything that suits your needs. Determine how many channels yo need (whether you want/need trunk or door poppers), what kind of range you want, and whether you want remote start or any other special features. After you determine that, I suggest you head over to www.directed.com and take a look at their alarms to see what model suits your needs. I honestly believe DEI is one of the better companies out there when it comes to security. After you determined brand and model, head over to ebay and find what you need at discounted prices.

Rep Power: 0 what about installation on these puppies, from your knowledge are they pretty hard to install? I've done a little stereo work myself, but never an alarm. I've heard some people say if you can install stereos than you should be able to do an alarm. What do you think? Did u install yours?
